The Rotaract Club of Willowdale has teamed up with Initiative PPE to bring medical-grade protective gear to frontline workers in seven African and Caribean countries. All PPE and financial donations are welcome! https://initiative-epi.com/

ABOUT: Initiative EPI is an awareness campaign to fight COVID-19 in Africa and the Caribbean, and to support healthcare and front-line professionals in need of personal protective equipment.

WHO WE ARE: The Initiative was created by a team of professionals and entrepreneurs with backgrounds from various countries: Algeria, Cameroon, DR Congo, Ghana, Guyana, Morocco, Senegal & Uganda.

They decided to unite to fight the spread of COVID-19 in Africa and the Caribbean.

WHAT WE DO: Our goal is to support healthcare and front-line professionals in African and Caribbean countries by providing them with gloves, gowns, masks and eye protections.

We are aiming at supporting countries like Algeria, Burkina Faso, Guyana, Nigeria, Congo DRC, Senegal, etc.

NEXT STEPS: By August 10th, we will be sending personal protective equipment to Senegal.

We are also working with the Centre Hospitalier Gratuit de Tessert in Haiti to send surgical masks, gloves, gowns and hand sanitizers by end of August. Date will be confirmed.

Rotaract Club of Willowdale is joining our Rotary Club Partner in a beautiful project called, the Gratitude Gardens. Bring a smile to all Frontline Workers during the Pandemic of 2020. We will be planting bulbs in the Fall of 2020 to create Gratitude Gardens in the area of Leslie and Sheppard Avenues.
Our wish is to bring cheer in the Spring of 2021 and remind us of the dedication of all Frontline workers in our community. Donate now clicking on the link below. Choose General Option and after filling in your details write in the comment box For The Gratitude Garden.
Rotaract was happy to form part of the first Virtual Presidential Night of the Rotary Club of Willowdale.
We miss you Jan!
