Rotary Fundraising Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee Gala For The Phillips House & Maddie’s Healing Garden

The Rotary Club of Willowdale and the Rotary Clubs of North York and York are organizing their third and last year of the unique fundraising project for the Phillips House and Maddie’s Healing Garden, a North York General Hospital facility dedicated to children and youths with mental health issues. The Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee Gala Dinner will be on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Grand Luxe Event Boutique, located at 3125 Bayview Ave, Toronto, at 6:00 PM. Join a festive evening of elegance, Halloween-themed cheer, delicious food, music, and the accustomed Rotary hospitality. This Rotary fundraising project for the Phillips House originated from the late Jan Siegel, a Past President of the Rotary Club of Willowdale. This project grew near and dear to her heart and the heart of all the Rotarians in District 7070. With the cooperation of many cubs in the D-7070, this project is reaching its $100,000 goal this year. The evening will offer many surprises, and the main act features Henri Audet, a folk musician from Quebec City and fellow Rotarian. Besides being a professional musician, Henri was also a social worker, youth worker, and 40-year expert in the recreational camping industry. He was the co-founder and Executive Director of Camp Kirk, a residential camp dedicated to neurodiverse children and the youth.

The reception will start at 6:00 PM, followed by dinner and musical entertainment at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $150 each and $175 after October 17, 2022. The tax receipt is $50, and there will be a cash bar.
