It is with a heavy heart that the Rotary Club of Willowdale is announcing the passing of our dear friend and beloved wife of Fellow Rotarian Bill King, Joan King. Joan, the much-beloved, passed away peacefully on January 27th, surrounded by many who loved her.
Joan was an exceptional human being! She was a kind and loving person that was always ready to serve her community on many platforms, especially with Rotary's projects and events. Our club will miss her dearly!
Our deepest condolences goes to FR Bill, sons Bill Junior and Nelson. Also her three sisters, Connie, Holly and Mary and brother Charlie. Our heart goes to her grandchildren MacKenzie, Toby, Brianna, Graydon, Jamieson, Macallan and Cassie.
There will be no funeral, but a celebration of life will be held when pandemic circumstances permit.
Thank you Joan for all that you did for your family and friends, your community and your country. RIP Joan, missing you already!
