The Jack-O’-Lantern Jubilee event in benefit of the Phillips House and Maddie's Healing Garden at the Grand Luxe on Saturday, October 29th was a great success. It was a night to remember, filled with elegance, great music, emotional speeches, great food, fun decoration, happy shopping, and all for a good cause!
Thank you to all who worked on the planning committee, collected items for the silent auction, donated financially and attended the evening.
Particular thanks to Uka, Margaret, Jobson and Eric from our club and Courtney and Elisabeth Linton from the Rotary Club of North York.
In the third year of supporting this project for Phillips House and Maddie’s Healing Garden, the Rotary Clubs of Willowdale, North York and York along with District 7070 and many other Clubs can feel happy that we are very close to achieving the goal of $100,000. We are hopeful that we may even exceed this goal! Thank you all for supporting such a worthy cause, which is to care for the mental health of our children and youths in Ontario.
